Our archery range, located in the pine wood, provides a fantastic resource for the site. All the equipment can be hired if needed, however the person running the activity requires a qualification/ permit to be able to use the range and/or equipment. With sufficient notice, and at an additional charge, it may be possible to supply an instructor

Tomahawk Throwing

Tomahawk throwing on our outdoor range is an exciting activity now available on-site. We have a number of qualified instructors and are able to offer this activity to Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Adults.

High Ropes

There are several high ropes activities which can be run onsite either by a group’s own leaders or by local volunteers. Please check with the booking secretary for required permits or qualifications.

Crate stacking can be run on the outdoor facility in the pine wood which allows participants to climb to approx 20ft.

Equipment is provided for crate stacking and climb the wobble pole. Prussicking can also be run if own equipment is used.

Abseiling can be run on the natural crag with fixed anchor points provided

Traversing Wall

The traverse wall is located in the barn so is a great activity for wet weather. The wall is set up with routes suitable for all ages from Beavers through to adults.

The site has equipment available for small scale pioneering projects.
